Get to Know Me

Hi! My name is Tessa McGarrity. I am a UX/UI designer graduating from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture in May 2026 with a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design.

My specific specialties include UX/UI and branding. I make user-centered decisions to develop visuals and systems that convey a clear voice for an identity, whether that be for a brand or simply displaying information for consumers. Collaboration and communication are a necessity for my creative process. My ideal projects are ones that challenge me to think differently.

Although I love design, my life is not all work no play. When I’m not working on my computer, you can find me dirtying every dish in my kitchen cooking, or annoying my two (feline) roommates. Fitness and health are also very important aspects of my life. I pride myself on my goal setting abilities and my achievements in the gym.

My journey as a designer is fueled by a deep love for creativity and collaboration. I’m excited about the future and the opportunity to continue pushing boundaries in my work.
