ACL App Redesign
After attending Austin City Limits Music Festival, I found that their app was very poorly designed. It was hard to find the information I needed and I found myself always looking to google for answers.
I wanted to design an alternate app that I felt curated to the user more for a smoother festival experience.
UX/UI, Branding
I wanted a webflow that provided everything a festival attendee would need. The problem with the original ACL app was that the information fans needed was not easily accessible.

App Features
The original ACL App had an external pdf for users to look at the festival map. I made it more interactive by giving dropdown map filters that enlarged icons when pressed for an easier user experience.
The festival map can be a bit overwhelming with the bold colors and icons. This feature helps users get where they need to go quicker than ever before.
Map Features
Community pages were a new feature I implemented to make the app more fun and interactive for users. Divided into features, Artist, and ACL Eats categories, fans are able to have more engagement with each other than ever before.
Originally, the app only served an informational purpose for festival goers. Now they are able to share their ACL experience with everyone.
Community Pages
Artist Pages are the hub for ACL’s headliner fans to connect and share their favorite photos they took from a certain set.
Artist Pages
ACL is home to some of the best food vendors festivals can get. Now, users can share their bites and recommend vendors by posting to the community. Great for festival go’ers and vendors!
ACL Eats
The MySchedule feature adds a more personalized feel to the app. With this feature, users can add their most anticipated sets to their own personal schedule.
When opening the MySchedule tab, users will see only their favorited sets. Here, they can plan their festival days easier and stay organized.
MySchedule
Originally, the app had not personalized profile features. on the new profile page, users can reserve lockers and update the status on their wristbands.

Help Page
The help page provides all information users would need to have an easy and safe ACL experience.
Being an ACL attendee myself, I had a lot of fun using my own festival experience to better the overall user experience for the app.
